The kids just love playing in the rain, afterwords we warmed them up with grilled cheeses and tomato soup.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

We were cutting potatoes the other day with our handy new slicer, when I got sloppy I cut part of my thumb off. While I was rinsing my thumb Kaylee thought she would help and cut her thumb as well. When she showed me we both started laughing so hard. Josh bandaged us up and finished dinner.

All the kids in Gilroy, Courtney, Hailey, Bailey, Kaylee(I know, we called them the aileys), Gracie, Tommy, and Hannah. They had a week long slumber party and loved every minute of it.

Archie

This is our new cat Archie. Isn't he cute? He sucks on his tail to go to sleep!! Thats why the end of is tail is like that.

Calle Family

Hello everyone!! Welcome to our family blog. I thought this would be a great tool to keep our family and friends up to date with our happenings (not that there's many).

Kaylee was Annie in her school play a few months ago. She was so awesome, you will see her on the big screen one day.

This is Tommys first day of school. He's in the 4th grade now and has Mr. Ihms, who turned out to be my sisters neighbor when the lived in AZ (small world). He looks a little scared, but he's had a great week and he's glad to be back.

The kids had a blast running around all day.

Gilroy

We went to Gilroy, Ca. for the 4th of July. The weather their is so nice, the hottest day was the 4th and it was probably about 90*. We took the kids to the beach one day and they had a blast. Courtney was doing flips in the sand while Kaylee and Tommy played in the waves. Larry and Sandi were nice enough to let us stay at their house which is on about 3 acres, they have a barn that the kids (and Josh and Zach) love to play in. Their neighbors have a full on farm with all the animals you can think of and the kids loved it.

Arkansas

Our family went to Arkansas last March to visit my sisters family. We miss them so much and we had a lot of fun. It was a long and painful car trip. It took us 3 days to get there because Courtney hates her car seat and would cry the whole time. Once we got there though, it was beautiful. The weather was great. I wouldn't mind moving there myself. The kids had so much fun together. Candace and Billy are very close in age to my kids and they all grew up together. Courtney had their dog Carmel as a playmate. As for mom, Tina, Josh, and I we played cards, talked, and laughed.
